No permission for multiplex at AVA Road: GUDA
Godavari Urban Development Authority GUDA chairman Ganni Krishna has said that GUDA had not accorded any permission to a multiplex which was under construction at AVA road
Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna has said that GUDA had not accorded any permission to a multiplex which was under construction at AVA road.
He along with GUDA vice-chairman Dr Amarendra Kumar and chief planning officer Ram Kumar inspected the multiplex and said that the builder dug 30 feet deep for foundation and as a result a compound wall of adjacent apartment was collapsed. The GUDA accords permission to any construction, which was above 1,000 square feet, he explained.
The builder of GV Apartment was constructing the multiplex. Engineers of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University will inspect the multiplex and submit
a report.
It was the duty of municipal corporation city planner to bring to the notice of constructions of above 1,000 feet after taking it to the notice of the Commissioner.
Action would also be taken against the builder, he added.
