Officials alerted on L&O problem during polls

Eluru: District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash has directed the police officials to get ready for next general elections and take all precautionary steps to control law and order.
He convened weekly grievance cell for public here on Monday. He received complaints from a cross section of people at district police headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP instructed the officials to address petty issues of law and order immediately. If neglected they would become problem for maintenance of law and order.
He asked the police officers too conduct counselling for rowdy-sheeters frequently so that they cannot create problems for law and order.
He said he had instructed the officials of police stations in Eluru, Bhimavaram and Narsapur to take preventive steps to control rowdy-sheeters as the general elections were approaching in near future.
