Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has said that the state government is not providing adequate security to him

Rampachodavaram: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has said that the state government is not providing adequate security to him.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Rampachodavaram, the gateway of East Godavari agency, late on Saturday evening, Pawan blamed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failure to provide security to him and his convoy.

Pawan said that despite requests to DGP, no measures were initiated to provide adequate security for him. He cited accident to his convoy near Rajanagaram during his last visit to East Godavari when eight of his private security persons were injured as truck carrying sand hit the car.

In addition to this, the same night late on the day, the car of one of the leaders of JSP was hit by truck at Hyderabad when he was on his way to home when he was coming from airport, Pawan narrated.

“Despite all this, I did not make it an issue like Reddy who made mountain out of a molehill on knife attack,” Pawan criticised.

He said that the uncontrolled graft in TDP and the failure of opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy in finding solutions to problems faced by the people forced him to enter into active politics.

Pawan criticised the rulers for negligence of interests of tribal population and for leaving them in the lurch. Several villages in interior areas in agency mandals still lack in basic amenities, he pointed out.

He flayed both Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Reddy for encouraging politics of inheritance. While Naidu was trying to elevate Lokesh as next CM, Jaganmohan Reddy was eyeing on CM post as his father had served the post. Neither Naidu nor Jagan was concerned about people’s problems.

Turning his attention towards CPI leader K Ramakrishna and CPM elder P Madhu who were on the dais, the JSP leader said that henceforth he would work with Left parties in all aspects.

Earlier, the Jana Sena leader who travelled from Rajamahendravaram to Rampachodavaram by APSRTC bus en route was greeted by large turnout of people including women.
