Continue struggle, CITU activists told

Kakinada: CITU East Godavari district president Ch Raj Kumar called upon leaders of various wings in CITU to continue the struggle for the cause of workers with trade union spirit.

Participating in training classes for CITU activists and leaders here on Tuesday, the district unit president said that the trade union movement had started in the year 1920 itself and continuing for the last 100 years in India.

In the last one hundred years, the workers movement had witnessed several changes, Raj Kumar said.

The CITU Kakinada city unit president, P Veerababu released the book on Indian trade union movement.

The CITU activists, Fatima Begum, G Babyrani, P Venkatalakshmi and others spoke on different issues related to trade union movement.
