Audience enjoy Hasyavadhanam

Vijayawada: The Vijayawada Cultural Academy organised a unique programmed captioned Navvukundam Randi at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Thursday evening.

Every literary lover knows about Astavadhanam and Sahasravadhanam, which are very popular, but Dr Dhara Ramanada Sastry created a different style of Avadhanam called ‘Natyavadhanam’.

This Natyavadhanam was popularized by him along with his brothers Radhakrishna Murthy and Satyanarayana Sarma. Swarnaraj Hanumantha Rao also performed this Natyavadhanam.

Now, Jayanthi Lakshmi Narasimham created another unique feature ‘Hasyavadhanam”. Like other Avadhanams, this Hasyavadhanam also will have eight ‘Pruschaka’. These Pruschakas will shoot questions to Avadhani. In this Hasyavadhanam, the Avadhani will answer with humour and wit.

KL Kameswara Rao (Hyderabad), N Ch S Chakravarthy (Bhadrachalam), Tallapragada Ravikumar (Vijayawada), Molugu Kamalakanth (Vijayawada), Unnava Ganesh (Kondapalli), Dr G Vijaya Saradhi and Dr D Kailasa Rao are the Pruchakas for this ‘Hasyavadhanam’.

Narasimham aptly and satirically answered duly including the contemporary issues. This was enjoyed by the gathering.

Ambati Madhumohana Krishna was felicitated on this platform on the occasion of his nomination as President for Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber.

Turlapati Kutumbarao, Pilla Lakshmi Prasad, Manepalli Lakshmi Kumari, Seeram Subrahmanyam were also participated.
