Awareness meet on cyber-crime organised in Vijayawada
To mark the Computer Security Day, the computer science department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science organised awareness programme on Cyber Crime on the college premises here on Friday
Vijayawada: To mark the Computer Security Day, the computer science department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science organised awareness programme on ‘Cyber Crime’ on the college premises here on Friday.
The chief guest of the programme was Computer Era editor N Sridhar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar explained various methods to protect important and confidential data from hackers.
He explained about the tools cyber hackers use like Brute Force Attack, Phishing Attack in credit, debit card and online frauds and explained how to protect them from hackers.
He advised the students to use BEAM, UPI and other secured apps to make online payments for e-commerce apps.
College principal Dr M Ramesh, computer science HoD Dr TC Ravi Kiran, K Sridhar, students and others were present.
