Ongole: The Bharatiya Janata Party Andhra Pradesh general secretary, S Suresh Reddy advised the party cadre to start giving wide publicity to the Central government schemes being implemented in the state and explain the public how the state government is claiming them as its programmes.
He participated as the chief guest to the district level office bearers meet held in Ongole on Thursday.
In the meeting presided over by the district BJP president PV Krishnareddy, the AP general secretary explained the party leaders that as per the call given by the state party headquarters, they should take up a programme, Intintiki BJP, from December 1 to 16.
He asked them to utilise the opportunity to give wide publicity to the welfare programmes introduced by the Central government.
He asked them to explain the public how the state government was resorting to corruption at all levels and how it was using the schemes by the Union government as their own programmes and cheating the public.
The BJP district in-charge Sasibhushan Reddy, Khalifatulla Basha, Narasimha Rao, Muvvala Ramanarao, Goli Nageswara Rao, Seggem Srinivasa Rao, Suresh and others also participated in the programme.
