Vizianagaram: The leaders and MLAs of Opposition party blamed the officials for ignoring them in every aspect. Even the protocol is also not being followed, they alleged.
On Tuesday, the general body meeting of Zilla Parishad was conducted. In the first hour, MLA of Kurupam P Pushpa Srivani, MLA of Salur P Rajanna Dora expressed ire over the government officials for intentionally ignoring the representatives belong to Opposition party.
Srivani said that they were not being invited for inaugural functions of the government schemes and the officials were giving more priority to the TDP leaders even at the mandal level.
She stated that a water scheme was sanctioned to her constituency but within few days it was cancelled. Playing politics on everything is not correct, she said. Rajanna Dora also stated that the Opposition MLAs were being totally sidelined and the low level leaders of TDP are leading every programme.
