200 selected at job fair
About 200 students were selected in a job fair organised at SRK Institute of Technology by Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy here on Tuesday
Vijayawada: About 200 students were selected in a job fair organised at SRK Institute of Technology by Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy here on Tuesday.
SRK placement officer Siva Nageswara Rao said that about 600 students participated in this job fair and more than 200 students were selected by 36 companies which participated in this job fair.
Chandusoft, HDFC, Kanaka Durga Finance, Miracle software, Indigo Airlines, Apollo Pharmacy, Eureka Force, Airtel Payment Bank Limited and others were the companies participated in this job fair.
Rao further said that job fairs were beneficial in providing an equal opportunity for job seekers and professionals.
At job fairs, job seekers get the chance to ask questions, talk about their skills and make important connections.
People actually get hired at the job fairs. A positive thing is that one can get the result on spot, he said.
