Singarayakonda: Police constable S Venkata Rao, who is working in the Ramayapatnam CSPS, has won two gold medals at the 39th state level master athletics held in Guntur.
Venkata Rao participated in the 30 plus age group in the master athletics held in the NTR Stadium at Guntur on December 8 and 9. He achieved first positions in the long jump and triple jump categories in the 30 plus age group and received the gold medals for them.
The south zone DSP and Ramayapatnam CI appreciated the constable, who is also selected for the state level master athletics tournament scheduled at Nasik in a few days.
