Playlet competition from Dec 14
A threeday nationallevel playlet competition will be held from December 14 to December 16 at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram in the historical city under the aegis of Kandukuri Veeresalingam Kala Parishad KVKP in association with CMR group and Andhra Pradesh Srujanatmaka Samskruthi Samithi
Rajamahendravaram: A three-day national-level playlet competition will be held from December 14 to December 16 at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram in the historical city under the aegis of Kandukuri Veeresalingam Kala Parishad (KVKP) in association with CMR group and Andhra Pradesh Srujanatmaka Samskruthi Samithi.
The programme convener and noted stage artist Madala Janakinadh, programme director Guduri Radhika and additional public relations officer J Venkateswara Rao released the programme brochure at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram.
Later, the programme convener Madala Janakinadh said that KVKP was formed during November this year with the initiative of MP Maganti Murali Mohan and decided to conduct national-level playlet competitions.
Former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy had announced April 16 as Rangastala Dinotsavam which is the birthday of Kandukuri Veeresalingam Panthulu, who also wrote first social stage play 'Vyavahara Dharma Darsini', he said.
About 80 playlets will be staged during the three day fest.
