Satavahana team lifts volleyball trophy
The Satavahana College Volleyball team won the Volleyball District Tournament organised to mark the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Board of Intermediate Education, according to the college physical director B Ch Sangeeta Rao here on Tuesday
Vijayawada: The Satavahana College Volleyball team won the Volleyball District Tournament organised to mark the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Board of Intermediate Education, according to the college physical director B Ch Sangeeta Rao here on Tuesday.
He said that B Udaya Lakshmi, Commissioner, Board of Intermediate handed over the winning trophy to Satavahana College players at a programme held at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science.
He said that about 16 teams from various colleges in the district participated in the tournament and Satavahana College volleyball team won the finals over Bantumilli Government Junior College volleyball team to clinch the title.
The college principal K Koteswara Rao, vice-principal Bramaiah and the college management congratulated the winning team.
