Andhra Pradesh government to construct 60-ft NTR statue in Amaravati

  The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to construct a 60-feet long statue of former chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao on a hills at Neerukonda in Amaravati.

The Construction company L&T has been entrusted to design and develop the statue and the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked them to make it as a tourist attraction. It is learned that the statue is being constructed on a 32 feet tall building.

Around Rs 406 crore has been estimated to construct the statue by the L&T. The government has  decided to raise the funds through donations.
