Srikakulam: The Telugu Desam Party will hold a massive Dharma Porata Deeksha on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh at Srikakulam on December 22.

According to minister Atchen Naidu, the date has been decided in consultation with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Similar Deekshas have been organised in most districts of the state and the deeksha at Srikakulam would be the last in the series. Hence, every arrangement is being made to ensure that the programme is a huge success. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, several ministers and MPs will attend the meet. Atchen Naidu said that the venue of the deeksha would be finalised in a couple of days.

The TDP is scouting for a big ground in view of the expectations that the turnout would be huge and the people from across the state would troop in to attend the programme.
