After TDP - Congress combine drew blank in the just concluded assembly elections in Telangana, the ruling TDP seems not interested to sail with Congress in Andhra Pradesh in the next assembly elections. However, the TDP will continue its friendly approach with Congress at national level.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Pitani Satyanarayana said that TDP has its presence in Telangana and it was the reason the party contested elections in the state. He opposed the argument that Congress was defeated because it fought elections jointly with TDP.
The minister maintained that TDP and Congress have become friendly parties aiming to expose BJP led union government's failure in fulfilling the promises to AP after the bifurcation of state.
