Vizag City Police arrested chaddi banian gang leader and two gang members
The Vizag City police had arrested Three notorious and dangerous gang members of Chaddi banian gang on Tuesday and produced in front of media here on Wednesday
Visakhapatnam: The Vizag City police had arrested Three notorious and dangerous gang members of Chaddi banian gang on Tuesday and produced in front of media here on Wednesday.
All the three arrested were identified as M Kamji (Gang leader), M Sumalabhai alias Sumla and S Ramul Bhai. The three arrested belongs to tribal community from Dahod district of Gujarat.
The prime target of the chaddi banian gang for committing offences are apartments and independent houses at isolated places. The gang never commits crimes in and around the Gujarat said Commissioner of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddha.
During police interrogation police the accused confessed 20 offences including one robbery and they also revealed five names of other gang members S Khaljee, P Ramesh, K Rumal, K Mala and M Meda among them M Meda hail from Jagwa district of Madya Pradesh and the other four from Dahod district of Gujarat. All the five are yet to be arrested by the police.
Police had sent the three accused for judicial remand and will be taken for police custody to recover the stolen property and to apprehend the remaining accused.
