Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana on Saturday said 3.4 acres of land in survey number 150 was alloted to Kapu Bhavan. The Minister inspected the proposed site for Kapu Bhavan at Rajiv Grihakalpa locality.
Speaking to the media, Narayana mentioned they had finalised a site for Kapu Bhavan earlier and the local Muslims raised objections on it. So, we dropped the idea and selected the new place, he added.
He further said they would be shifting offices located in Ambedkar Bhavan to Rebala Saraswathamma Children’s Hospital at Stonehouse Pet. To a question, Narayana said they had not finalised any plans for construction of Gosha Hospital.
He said Chandranna Christmas gifts would be distributed to 1.37 crore white card holders and pensions to 60 lakh people. In Nellore district, 9.03 lakh people will be getting Christmas support.
He revealed the Chief Minister had allocated Rs 388 crore additionally for projects in Nellore city. Mayor Abdul Aziz, District Collector Mutyala Raju and others were present.
