Kadapa: Around 3.50 lakh Christians in the district are readying to celebrate 'Season of Advent' which is popularly known as waiting movements of Jesus Christ birth. All the ancient churches across the district are seen reverberating the songs praising Jesus from early hours in the morning.

A groups of singers called 'Caral Singing' were seen going around the town and villages, visit every house to awaken their community people by singing songs which praises of the birth of 'Incarnation of God'(Deva dootha).

According to the Mariyapuram Roman Catholic Church Preacher and also in charge for the church Sagili Prakash 'Caral Singing' is one of the most important events during the 'Advent Event' as the people believe that Jesus Christ will bless them with Health and Wealth.

Ancient churches like a 125 years old Paripethuru Pari Poulu Church, and 30 years old Mariyapuram Roman Cathedral Church reverberated with the songs and preaches with Christians in large numbers attending the event.

Siluvamrgam which is newly constructed with 14 structures including 15 feet Stupam, along the statue of Jesus in the premises of Mariyapuram church seen glittering with new look and special attraction.

Special poojas are performed in the churches and community people thronged to the churches for owning Baptism as they feel this will be auspicious month for taking such holy process for them. Meanwhile YSR Congress honorary president YS Vijayamma has participated in Christmas celebrations at Idupulapaya and paid rich tributes to the late Rajasekhar Reddy’s tomb on Monday.
