Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham informed on Wednesday that adventure sports would be held at Kondapalli Fort on January 27 and 28.
The Collector at a meeting with the Tourism department officials discussed on organising adventure sports at Kondapalli Reserve Forest as per International standards (International Adventure Festival). He said that sports persons from National and International fields would participate in the adventure events.
Trekking, Rappelling, Rock Climbing, Germering, Zipline, Commando Obstacles and other sports would be organised, said the Collector and added that to showcase the greatness of Kondapalli Fort, cultural events with tradition would be held on January 27 and 28 in a big way.
He said that as part of the Kondapalli Fort fest, seminars and cultural programmes would be organised and appealed to all the denizens to participate in the fest. Joint Collector 2 P Baburao, Tourism ED Mallikarjuna Rao and others were present.
