Agri Gold depositors stage dharna in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Agri Gold depositors staged a dharna at NTR statue here on Thursday, demanding that the government do justice to them.

Agri Gold Depositors Association leaders said the government was delaying to return the deposit amount to the victims though High Court directed to auction the properties of Agri Gold company.

Lakhs of people had deposited their savings in Agri Gold with a belief that they will get some extra amount.

But, Agri Gold management cheated lakhs of depositors, they said.

The association leaders warned the government of intensifying their agitation, if the government failed to fulfill their demand.
