Polavaram: AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu took part in the Polavaram project world record celebrations. Guinness Book of World records adjudicators Rishinath have declared the record and presented the memento to Naidu.
AP CM Congratulated Navayuga company MD Sridhar for achieving the historical world record. So far the record was on the name of the Dubai based construction company for 21,580 cubic meters of concrete works in about 35 hours.
Polavaram breaks the record by completing the 22,045 cubic meters of concrete cement works by 12 o clock midnight on Sunday.
This historical feat had begun on Sunday Morning at 8 am and concluded at 8 am on Monday by pouring 32,100 cubic meters of concrete non-stop for 24 hours. NECL was brought on board after the termination of the contract with Transstory in last year.
