Guntur: Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao launched locked house surveillance App here on Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that this system is useful to the people and it will check robberies and keep vigilance on the locked houses.
He said that it will reduce crime rate and create confidence on the police department and felt that if the police use technology, they can manage the department with less man power.
He urged the police officials to create awareness on the Locked House Surveillance App among the staff and people.
He said that when they have awareness, they will use this facility.
Guntur rural SP SV Rajasekhara Babu, police officials were also present.
