Rajamahendravaram: Jana Sena Party (JSP) leaders K Durgesh, CHV Rama Rao along with party activists staged a dharna at Konthamuru here on Friday, demanding that the government lay roads and drains in Konthamuru area immediately.
They alleged that the officials were neglecting completion of the roads and drains though the people of this were facing many problems. Moreover, there was no Godavari water and the people requested the officials many a time in this regard but in vain.
Konthamuru is developing day by day which was located on the way to airport and to Bhadrachalam. The party will take up an agitation, if the officials fails to fulfill the demands of the people of Konthamuru, they warned.
