Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee (JAC) Amaravati leaders and members led by Bopparaju Venkateswarlu expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for announcing 10 percent to 50 percent pension hike to pensioners above 70 years age up to 100 years age through GO No 6.
Speaking on the occasion here on Sunday, Bopparaju said that with the hike of pension for super senior citizens, about four lakh pensioners would be benefited across the state.
He recalled that the APJAC had demanded enhancement of pension for senior citizens who have crossed 70 years of age and discussed with senior officials and the Chief Minister on the same.
