Bapatla: A kidnap attempt has happened on a young girl at Kollamudivari street in Bapatla in Guntur district. Two unknown persons who came on a bike tried to kidnap a girl while she was putting Sankranti rangoli in front of her house.
On hearing the screaming of the girl's sister, locals and family members got alert and caught hold of one accuse and trashed him out. Later handed over him to the police.
At this festival time, the happening of such incident has left the family members in a deep shock. The entire kidnap incident was recorded in the CCTV. Police are looking out for one more accuse who has made an escape from the scene.
