Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu termed Mamta Banerjee rally at the Kolkata Brigade Grounds as historic and said that it has given confidence to the people of the country.
Speaking to TDP workers through a tele conference, he said this rally was the beginning of the end of despotism and dictatorship in the country. He said he would soon organise a similar rally on a larger scale in Amaravati and leaders from 22 political parties across the country would attend the meet.
He said the country has lapsed into backwardness under Narendra Modi's rule and added that he has become a symbol of negativity. He said the progress has come to a stop during Narendra Modi's rule.
