Amalapuram MP alleges negligence by ONGC in handling CS- 137

Kakinada: Amalapuram Lok Sabha member Dr.Pandula Ravindra Babu alleged negligence on part of ONGC officials in dealing with CS- 137 (cesium isotope) issue. The MP who is also member of Parliamentary committee on petroleum and natural gas said that the committee will visit the place of indent on 24th of this month for on the spot observation of the situation.

Speaking to media persons at his camp office in Kakinada on Monday, the MP who was a former autocrat of IRS cadre revealed that the missing CS-137 emits radiation of nuclear substance and will affect human health very badly. The MP wondered how such a dangerous substance could be handled in a negligent way.
