Chandrababu Naidu suspends sitting MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy
Amaravati: The TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has suspended the party MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy, in the review meeting of Rajampet party leaders meeting on at Undavalli in Guntur on Tuesday.
Before taking the decision to suspend Mallikharjuna Reddy, Naidu took the opinions and feedback from the party local leaders. It is known that Mallikharjuna Reddy has been contemplating to join in the YSRCP, expecting MLA ticket in the ensuing General Elections.
All the party leaders and cadre unanimously accepted the resolution to suspend the leader, as he has been moving close to the YSRCP and damaging the TDP in the constitution.
On this occasion, Naidu explained with the cadre that he made Mallikharjuna Reddy as MLA and offered Party Whip and also gave good position to his father in the party. Despite of enjoying all these privileges in the party, Mallikharjuna Reddy cheated the party and created chaos in the cadre.
