Visakhapatnam: On the second day, the new collector K Bhaskar inspected Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Paderu, and informed about his priorities and style of administration.

The collector convened a meeting with all the officials and informed to them that all the government servants must attend the duties throughout the week. Right from the teacher to RDO rank official must take prior permission for even one-day leave, the collector said.

He informed them that he would check every employee and officer where they are working with the help of latest technology. The collector directed the officials to prepare action plans in February for the next financial year and start the works from April 1 onwards.

The collector reviewed the drinking water schemes and power supply. He directed the officials to take up works to ensure every tribal hamlet should have telephone service.

Later, the collector inspected Hukumpeta Tribal Welfare Residential School and interacted with the inmates. Project Officer ITDA, Paderu, D K Balaji, Sub- Collector Dr Venkateswar, DSP Rajkamal and Deputy Director Tribal Welfare Vijay Kumar accompanied the collector.
