Amaravati: The TDP has decided to take the welfare measures deep into the people by launching the recently announced welfare schemes at specially-organised meetings in various parts of the state.
The TDP government had announced to provide the Rs 10,000 additional direct cash benefit to the women in three phases.
The first instalment of Rs 1,500 under Pasupu – Kumkuma to self-help groups members will be distributed on February 1, the second instalment of Rs 3,500 on March 8 and Rs 5,000 during the third phase on April 5, according to officials of Chief Minister’s Office.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would be addressing three meetings of SHG members on Friday to explain what the government had done during the last four-and-a- half years and what it would do next in its next term if voted to power.
