Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari has said that the police would give protection and necessary help to women in danger.

She said if the women face problems or danger while going to their office, they would refer the case to the police station for taking further action.

She addressed a meeting held in Bapatla on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion, she suggested the women to take assistance of police, in case of need or danger and added that they need not feel insecure for going to police station.

She further said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was reacting positively to extend financial assistance to women.

Guntur (Rural) SP SV Rajaksekhara Babu suggested to the women to seek the assistance of police wherever necessary.

Earlier, Raja Kumari flagged off a rally conducted on this occasion.
