‘Maro Singaraju Lingaraju,’ a rib tickling comedy
Citybased Young Theatre Organisation staged the hilarious play titled Maro Singaraju Lingaraju at Hanumantharaya Grandhalayam
Vijayawada: City-based ‘Young Theatre Organisation’ staged the hilarious play titled ‘Maro Singaraju Lingaraju’ at Hanumantharaya Grandhalayam.
This was written by DNR and directed by Vasudeva Rao. Director R Vasudeva Rao said that the playlet was named with the inspiration of the character of Singaraju Lingaraju in the play ‘Vara Vikrayam’ written by Kallakuri Narayana Rao.
The playlet spread the comedy sparks in the auditorium through the gestures and movement of the artistes.
V Mani Krishna, V Bhagya Sasidhar, Kalpana and Krishna Manasa played their roles well.
With a thinner comedy line, this play was sketched. The sound system was not perfect during the run of the play so audience couldn’t enjoy fully.
This playlet was arranged by an audience club “Drusya Vedika”. Hemadri Prasad, Hemanth and Grandhalayam Satyanarayana organized the playlet.
