Guntur: AP Women’s Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, minister for women and child welfare Paritala Sunitha visited the GGH separately on Wednesday and consoled the victim and her parents.

They assured that the government will extend support to the victim's family. Rajakumari and Guntur Urban Cooperative Bank chairman Bonaboina Srinivasa Yadav called on the girl who is undergoing treatment at GGH here and enquired with doctors about her condition.

She directed better treatment to the victim who was in shock. Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced Rs 5 lakh financial assistance to victim's family which will be given through the district collector Kona Sasidhar.

The district administration will also sanction a house to the victim’s family. Rajakumari and Guntur rural MPP Thota Seetha Mahalakshmi also gave Rs 5,000 as financial assistance to the victim.
