Kakinada: East Godavari Collector Karthikeya Mishra on Thursday reviewed the Smart City developmental works with the stakeholders at the Collectorate. Mishra directed the concerned contractors and officials to complete the Vivekananda Park works by February 2.
“I will inspect the works in next few days,” the collector said. Turning his attention towards facilities in schools, the collector said that the infrastructure facilities should be developed in elementary and upper primary schools. The collector also asked the Smart City officials to complete Sarpavaram and Atchampeta junction works by February 10.
The collector asked the officials to see that the gyms and physical exercise instruments installed at different public places should be utilised to maximum extent. He directed the officials to complete the Kakinada main road works from Sarpavaram to Balyogi Statue in Yanam road at the earliest.
