Vijayawada: The Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi arrived in the city on Saturday to participate in the inauguration of temporary building for the Andhra Pradesh High Court at Amaravati on Sunday.
On his arrival, he was welcomed by Andhra Pradesh High Court Registrar General Justice Ch Manavendra Nath Rai, Registrar Justice T Venugopal and State Legal Services Authority member secretary Judge PV Rambabu.
Supreme Court judges Justice NV Ramana, Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao, Justice
R Subhash Reddy and others accompanied the Chief Justice.
On arrival at a star hotel in the city, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi was accorded warm reception by the city police with guard of honour.
