New Sri Venkateswara University V-C takes charge
VVN Rajendra Prasad, retired English professor of the Sri Krishnadevaraya University SVU, took charge as new vicechancellor VC of the Sri Venkateswara University SVU here on Monday The new VC thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan for appointing him as SVU VC
Tirupati: VVN Rajendra Prasad, retired English professor of the Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SVU), took charge as new vice-chancellor (V-C) of the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) here on Monday. The new V-C thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan for appointing him as SVU V-C.
Later, all the varsity college principles introduced themselves to the V-C. Speaking to the media, Rajendra Prasad assured of streamlining the examination branch for smooth conduct of exams and timely release of results.
Earlier, varsity registrar Anuradha, rector G Janakiramaiah, professor Narendra, Non-teaching president SK Subramanyam, secretary Subramanyam and other staff welcomed the V-C at varsity administrative building.
