Man dies, another seriously hurt in road mishap
One person died on the spot and another sustained major injuries in a road mishap that occurred in between Kandamamidi and Kotalagaruvu in Paderu region here on Tuesday
Visakhapatnam: One person died on the spot and another sustained major injuries in a road mishap that occurred in between Kandamamidi and Kotalagaruvu in Paderu region here on Tuesday.
According to sources, the deceased was identified as Korra Sobhan(40) a native of Vonnuru village of Vantalamamidi mandal. The other who sustained major injuries was Sidari Bheemanna who was a neighbour of the deceased.
The duo while coming from Paderu on a two wheeler, tried to overtake the APSRTC bus. The bike rider Sobhan lost control and had hit the bus and they were dragged along with the bike for a distance.
In the accident Sobhan died on the spot the pillion rider Bheemanna sustained head injury. Paderu police moved both Sobhan and Bheemanna to Paderu hospital were Sobhan was kept in mortuary for post mortem and Bhemanna was kept on ventilator for treatment. Police registered the case.
