Visakhapatnam: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao signed an MoU with the management of Baker College, Michigan, US recently. Giving the highlights of the College, M Satishbabu International advisory member of the College said Baker College completed 100 years and it is a private not-for-profit institution of higher learning preparing students for challenging careers.
Baker College partnered with AP to provide access to their educational programmes through Videshi Vidya Deevena initiative. The initiative demonstrates the commitment by the state to create opportunity for its citizens to acquire the knowledge and skills required by the employers.
The College has the lower fee structure in the state of Michigan for the benefit of the Telugu youth and government employees selected under the initiative Videsi Vidhya Deevena Scheme.
The College is also offering scholarships for the students of AP to pursue their higher education in the USA. There is an offer for the students of AP to complete their “Bridge Year” from India itself.
