Vijayawada: The state government issued orders on Thursday scrapping cases related to the Samaikyandhra agitation. The state police registered hundreds of cases against the protestors during the period of state bifurcation.
The agitations continued for several months in 2014. The govt has been drawing flak for a long time for not scrapping the cases. Finally, the orders were issued withdrawing the cases.
