Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao has directed the officials of health department to maintain sanitation properly, as people are making complaints in this regard.
He along with corporation manager S Srinivas inspected ongoing road and drain works in the divisions of 17th, 18th, 19th, 26th and 27th in the city on Thursday.
He asked the sanitation supervisor to clear the silt in the drains as in many areas the drain water is flowing onto the roads.
As a result, the residents in the divisions are facing problems. He advised corporation Health Officer Dr MVR Murthi to check the sanitation works regularly as the corporation is giving top priority for sanitation.
