Visakhapatnam: Noted Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar advised the budding singers not to lose hope if they don’t succeed because she too worked hard, and it was her passion mixed with practice made her a successful singer.
Addressing media here on Friday, Neha said that she was very impressed with the scenic beauty of Visakhapatnam even it was her visit to the city. The singer came to Visakhapatnam to attend a concert organised by the Imperial Blue Superhit Nights at Andhra University Exhibition grounds.
Neha said that she never dreamt of being a judge in the Indian Idol show though she had the talent because she came into limelight from the same show in 2006, which she feels as a very cinematic experience.
Even though she does not understand Telugu, she admires the kind of music made by the Telugu singers. Neha said that songs from the 90s are her favorite and she personally feels that it was the golden phase in Bollywood music. She mentioned that she loves listening to songs of Latha Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi.
