Kanna demands white paper on State’s finances

Rajamahendravaram: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Kanna Lakshminarayana alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was still trying to get political mileage by indulging in blame game against the BJP government.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said that people in the State now came to know that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was playing gimmicks to capture power again.

He said people of the State are vexed up with the anti-people’s policies of Chandrababu Naidu government and they have decided to dethrone him.Terming TDP as a drama company, he questioned Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as to why he is not having an alliance with the Congress in the State in the forthcoming Assembly elections and why he sailed with Congress in Telangana Assembly elections.

The BJP president demanded release of white paper on the financial position of the State to bring the facts before the people. He criticised Naidu for not accepting the special package offered by the NDA government to secure funds for the State.Stating that measures are being taken to strengthen the BJP in the State, he asked party leaders to work in coordination. He said the party leaders were told to mingle with people.

BJP national president Amit Shah would be visiting Ongole on February 19 and Rajamahendravaram on February 21. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting in Visakhapatnam on March 1.He pointed out that the BJP government at the Centre had offered funds to the State under Special Package on par with Special Category Status. 

He urged the BJP activists to tell the people out the help extended to Andhra Pradesh and also the attiude of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.Earlier, Kanna spoke to the leaders of Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Amalapuram and Narsapuram Parliamentary constituencies.MLC Somu Veerraju, former minister P Manikyala Rao and others were present.
