YS Jagan controversial tweet on CM Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad: YSR Congress party chief and leader of the opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy once again lashed out at AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that he is the responsible for the death of a poor farmer.

YS Jagan has expressed his anguish through a tweet that "Chief Minister garu you have killed a farmer Kotaiah garu, who belongs to BC (Muthras) community in Kondaveedu".

The farmer who was fighting for his life after getting injures in the beating and was left carelessly, inhumanly at the spot.

In order to land the helicopter, you have destroyed his papaya plantation. The time when humanity is to be shown, what is this evilism Chandrababu garu? YS Jagan questioned.

What exactly happened?

On the occasion of inaugurating the ghat road to the historical Kondaveedu fort, the state government has organized two days cultural festival.

As a part of the festival, a public meeting was arranged at Kottapalem village, in Yadlapadu mandal in the district, where CM Chandrababu Naidu is supposed to take part.

During CM's visit, the police department has made strong security arrangements. For Naidu's helicopter landing a helipad was made near the fields of the farmer Pittala Koteswara Rao, alias Kotaiah.

For the parking purpose for the Naidu's meeting, the farmers land has been used. On Monday morning around 10 AM when Koteswara Rao went near his fields, the police have stopped him from entering into the farmland.

When Kotaiah expressed agitation that his plantation is getting destroyed... the policemen have not heard to him. After that, no one knows what had happened to Kotaiah, that he was laying in the fields battling for his life. While he was shifting to hospital Kotaiah died.

The locals are alleging that due to the police beatings Koteswara Rao has died, They said that Kotaiah called his son that the policemen have attacked him. They have also said that the police have not even allowed them to take Kotaiah to the hospital. 

After knowing about the incident CM Chandrababu Naidu has announced Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to the kin family. But YSR Congress party leaders are alleging that Kotaiah died because of the police over action.
