8-year-old found murdered in Krishna district

Vijayawada: In a gruesome incident, an eight year girl was brutallly murdered in Gummadi durru village of Penuganchiprolu mandal of Krishna district on late Tuesday night. Some unidentified person took away the girl while she was sleeping with her parents in the house and brutally murdered injuring her.

The body of the girl was found behind the house in early morning on Wednesday.

Sub inspector of police M Naga durga Rao said the victim Vemuru Eswari.,8, is the daughter of Vemuru Krishna and Dhanalakshmi. The couple have two children. Eswari is the elder onr and she has younger brother aged six years. Penuganchiprolu police are investigating the case.
