All set for SI final exams today, tomorrow in Guntur

Guntur: The police department made all arrangements for conducting final examination for the candidates selected in the physical and preliminary tests for the recruitment of SIs.

The exams will be held on February 23 and 24 in the South Coastal Zone in Guntur Range including Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts. As many as 11,403 students of Guntur Zone will write the examinations at 26 examination centres in Guntur district.

The police officials divided the centres into seven routes and appointed route officers. Guntur urban SP YT Naidu is nodal officer for the examinations. Guntur urban additional SP (Crime) Ragava was appointed as nodal officer for bandobust.

One additional SP, seven CIs and 225 constables have been appointed for security for conducting the examinations.

The police department has already set up help desks at railway stations and RTC Bus Stands for the convenience of the students to furnish necessary information. The candidates should reach the examination centres at 9 am.

The examination will start at 10 am. The police officials decided not to allow the late comers to write the examination.
