Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chittoor district Christian Cell president Y Praveen was appointed as Andhra Pradesh Christian Finance Corporation director on Friday.
Praveen took oath as the director of the corporation at Tadepalli office in the presence of the corporation managing director Yesupadam.
Speaking on the occasion, Praveen thanked CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu for having faith in him and appointing him as the director.
He said that he would do justice to the post. He would tour the state and organise awareness programmes on various welfare schemes introduced to the Christian community.
