Hyderabad: The YSR Congress party chief and leader of the opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has clarified that he will be supporting the party which will give special status for AP.

The YSRCP will be playing a neutral role when comes to national politics. For the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, they will be no alliances.

Speaking at a media programme YS Jagan expressed his opinion related to the state politics and Lok Sabha elections.

After the LS elections, whoever comes into the power, wheater it may be Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Mayawati..in fact anyone, we'll support to them who gives special status.

For us, the state benefits and the interests of Andhra people are the important and special status issue is the high priority for YSRCP.

The party which fulfills these issues, we'll support them after the elections, YS Jagan said.

YS Jagan said that in his nine years of the political journey he has spend between the people. Whichever way I go..wherever I stay..I keep informing people..walked with them. I am meeting with the people as much as possible.

With Praja Sankalpa Yatra..for 14 months I was with the people. Throughout the length of the padayatra, I enquired about the good and bad..I listened to their problems..for the people who are in the troubles..I gave them hope.

As a person, who knows the problems of the people, my main target is to provide welfare to all the segments of the people, YS Jagan said.

Those two parties betrayed AP.

YSRCP chief said that the two main parties at the national level have betrayed AP. Congress and BJP have cheated the people of the state.

Against the aspirations of the people, they have separated the state, During the bifurcation, the promise of special status which was made in front of the Parliament was not implemented by the central government.

Congress, BJP, TDP have separated the state against the feelings of Andhra people. By closing the Parliament doors..stopped the live telecast of Lok sabha..the state bifurcation bill was passed.

By not giving special status to AP, it's difficult to provide employment and job opportunities to the youth of the state. Where shall the educated youth should go, YS Jagan, questioned?

After the bifurcation, how AP will compete with the big cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai? The central government should give special status..provide 100 percent tax benefits..then only we can compete with others and can achieve development.

In Hyderabad, the complete infrastructure is available, then how a new company, hospital, or a factory will come to AP? By giving a special status, then only AP can stand, YS Jagan said.
