3 new Regal Raptors launched.After the unveiling of US-based luxury bike brand Regal Raptor’s line-up in the city at the recently concluded International Auto Show 2015, city-based Fabulous and Beyond Motors (Fab Motors) has added three new bikes to the line-up -- DD 350 E, Daytona and Bobber.
After the unveiling of US-based luxury bike brand Regal Raptor’s line-up in the city at the recently concluded International Auto Show 2015, city-based Fabulous and Beyond Motors (Fab Motors) has added three new bikes to the line-up -- DD 350 E, Daytona and Bobber.“The bikes are a symbol of strength and style, and are priced between Rs 2.96 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. The high-end models will however be available only after two years,” said MG Shahriq, managing director of Fab Group.
Fab Motors will be setting up a production facility in the outskirts of city to manufacture Fab Regal Raptor motorcycles. A portion of the required investment - close to Rs 1,000 crore - would be borne by Regal Raptor. By setting up the plant, Fab Motors aims to generate employment to over 25,000 people.
“The proposed plant will create direct and indirect employment to over 25,000. We will increase the production capacity depending on the demand,” chairman of the group, MG Jeelani, said.Being a US-based vehicle, the motor cycles will be imported in completely knocked down (CKD) condition and most of the components will be localised to make the vehicle more cost effective. Fab Motors is in the process of appointing dealer and distribution network in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Trivandrum and Pune.
