Audi TT Coupe India Price. Audi on Thursday launched the TT Coupe in India for Rs 60.34 lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The car is the first of the five launches Audi has planned for the next five months.

New Delhi: Audi on Thursday launched the TT Coupe in India for Rs 60.34 lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The car is the first of the five launches Audi has planned for the next five months.

The car comes with a turbo charged petrol engine, which will churn out 230 brake horse power. The engine will be mated to a 6 speed S-Tronic gearbox. The car shall also be loaded with Audi's legendary Quattro four wheel drive system. The car, according to Audi team can reach a top speed of 250 Kmph.

Speaking about the car, Audi India head Joe King said, "Re-engineered for more power, the all new Audi TT Coupe blends dynamic aesthetics with innovative technology and inspired performance."

Audi is looking to consolidate its position as the leader in the luxury car segment in India, and it plans to do so by launching 10 new products this year. Audi was beaten by Mercedes in the first quarter of 2015 as it sold 3,139 units to Mercedes 3,566 units, but won the overall battle as it beat Mercedes to the top step with by selling 79 more units than Mercedes in the financial year 2015.

Talking about how Audi wants to expand in India, King talked about Audi's expansion into smaller towns. "We were the first to open a shop in Ranchi and we received a good response. The Q series generally does very well for us," he told ANI. Audi is also expanding in the North East with a dealership in Guwahati.

When asked about how Audi plans to get to the top step of the market in India, King said, "Audi has always kept the needs of customers in mind. The Q3 Manual and the A3 sedan are some examples of how Audi heard customer feedback and reacted."

Talking specifically about the TT he said, "The price is not introductory and most options on the car are standard. One of the few options in the car is the matrix headlamps."

From the outside, the new Audi has a sharper and sportier look. The headlight cluster also has a new look and the grille has also been changed. Matrix LED headlights shall be the biggest change for regular Audi customers which can be expected in the Q7 also.

On the inside, Audi has made improvements and the new virtual instrument cluster which also doubles up as a satellite navigation screen. The car also does not have any climate control buttons as they have been integrated into the air vents.
