Nissan has launched a new CVT model for the Micra XL. The new Micra XL CVT sports no other changes over the original Micra XL except for the continuous variable transmission. The new model will now make the automatic version of Micra more affordable for customers as the continuous variable transmission (CVT) was previously offered only in the top model of Micra.
To mark its anniversary, Nissan has also come out with a limited edition Micra, called Micra X-Shift. The limited edition will only see a total of 750 models produced for the Indian market and only sports cosmetic changes over the regular Micra.
The X-Shift has a matte black wrapped roof, black side decals, and a chrome tip exhaust in terms of changes from the outside. Inside, LED scuff plates have been added under the door and the steering gets mounted controls like in the Sunny.
